2.   An opening address by an experienced Talent Management professional

MatimbaMbungela1

Matimba Mbungela is the Regional Head of Organisational Effectiveness and Change at Vodafone and before that was the Regional Head of Talent- Africa, Asia Pacific & Middle East at Vodafone. He is an exceptionally talented, passionate, experienced and well rounded HR practitioner with extensive emerging markets experience across Africa, Asia Pacific and the Middle East whilst based in the UK (London).  He will tell the conference delegates more about Vodafone’s integrated approach to Talent Management, including the use of development centres as an input into the calibration platform of future leaders in the business.

3.   Open space sessions clustered according to the design model used for Assessment Centres

More than 15 open space sessions organised around 5 conference tracks will deliver a tailored ACSG conference experience.  Learn from industry leading thought leaders on a variety of topics related to Assessment Centre technology.  The conference tracks help you navigate your way around the conference programme to ensure the most valuable experience.  The five tracks are as follows:

  • The Analysis Stage
  • The Design Stage
  • The Implementation Stage
  • Evaluation and Validation Stage
  • Talent Management Applications

Open Space presentations are repeated to give conference delegates the opportunity to attend two presentations done during the same Open Space slot.

4.   An interactive Speaker’s Corner

The ACSG is piloting an exciting new concept at the conference called “Speaker’s Corner.” The “speaker’s corner” concept differs from the open space presentations in that it is more informal and interactive, allowing more delegates to air their views and ensure more learning from each other.  A speaker will introduce a topic and then the delegates will have the opportunity to have a conversation with the presenter and with the other delegates about the topic.

5.   Interesting exhibitions

A structured exhibition environment that features more than 10 companies to help you find the tools to help you make an impact in your organisation.

6.   Excellent networking opportunities

Network with your friends and colleagues to share knowledge, discuss challenges and pursue opportunities.

7.   Earning CPD (Continuing Professional Development) points

If you need to maintain your registration with the South African Health Professions Council, you will know that approximately 22 to 35 CPD points for a conference, including points for ethics, is a great reason to attend!

8.   Additional Learning Opportunities

Workshops, held from Monday to Wednesday (12 – 14 March 2012) involve full and half-day programmes. These workshops offer in-depth coverage of topics as well as hands-on work to build skills. There is an additional fee and advance sign-up is required.

The workshop - Research Focus Area can be attend for free by participants.

Book your space at this wonderful learning event and experience the knowledge sharing and networking first-hand!
