Industrial Psychologists' Perspective on AI in the Workplace

Research project members are Proff’s Claude Mayer and Rodney Lowman from the University of Johannesburg and Dr’s Joanie Connell and Larry Norton from the United States of America are conducting a research project about experiences and views of Industrial Psychologists on the use of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in the workplace.

An executive summary of this reseatch project is available below.

Few topics in the workplace are getting more attention than AI. Its use is advancing rapidly but soared the concerns about its possible misuse. For now, we need more and better information about how AI is used and what Industrial Psychologists consider to be ethical and unethical practices in the use of AI.

The survey will take 7 to 10 minutes to complete. It addresses the use of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in organisations and the perceptions by Industrial Psychologists of its ethical and unethical uses in organisations.
